Kate Carman is a leadership and change strategist with nearly two decades of experience helping organizations align talent, culture, and strategy to drive meaningful transformation. She has partnered with clients ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500s and federal agencies, delivering neuroscience-based coaching, people-centered change strategies, and leadership development programs that unlock potential and support long-term growth. Her work spans executive coaching, succession planning, organizational readiness, and talent development—with a focus on making complex transitions clearer, steadier, and aligned with what matters most.

Before founding Carman Strategies, Kate worked in leadership development at Korn Ferry, organizational strategy at Sapere Consulting, and earlier in operations leadership and strategic communications. Her work spans sectors including food systems, energy, government, and social impact, blending analytical thinking with creative problem-solving and deep systems insight.
Education & Certifications
Kate holds a master’s degree in environmental management from Yale, with a focus on green business and innovation. She is certified in Brain-Based Coaching (NeuroLeadership Institute), Prosci Change Management, and Korn Ferry’s Leadership Architecture.
